About the event
After a month off, we're back with our FREE community drumming sessions, and this one is a special one because it's right on Max's Birthday!! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a brand new beginner, there is a place for you in our circle. Community Drumming is about having fun, being musical, letting loose, and connecting -- not just with yourself, but with your instrument, with a friend, and with the music being created around you. Scroll down to see a video example :)
Join us at the beautiful Invisible City for an evening of more than just drums:
6:15 PM -- Arrive
6:30 PM -- Drumming Begins
7:15 PM -- Short Connection Break
7:30 PM -- Drumming Gets HOT!
8:15 PM -- Drumming Ends, Quick Clean Up!
8:30 PM -- Social Hour in the main room! Hang out with your friends, make new ones, and help Max celebrate his 36th Birthday.
9:30 PM -- Go home! You must RSVP below to reserve a space (or 2 or 4). Please email us if you RSVP and cannot attend as we have limited space and don't want to shut people out who want to attend.
Here is an example of what it looks like:
We are asking participants do their best to arrive on time for this event. The bar will not be open so this will be a sober event. You can feel free to bring snacks for after though!!
Bring a friend, bring your drum or use one of ours -- whatever feels good! This is about having fun with music, not performing, and certainly not sounding "good," (although that's what ends up happening naturally!).
