Group Djembe + Hand Drumming Lessons

Back by popular demand! Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:15, we'll be taking you through some rudimentary hand techniques, a few rhythms, and lots of improv and jamming. This will be a SIX WEEK course.

The idea of this class is not to make you an expert at djembe or fluent in African rhythms, but rather for you to understand how to play hand drums competently, gain musicality, and feel confident enough to sit in a group of drummers and hold your own.

This will have more advanced techniques and new rhythms, however, ALL LEVELS are welcome -- whether you're brand new or have some experience and are looking to sharpen your chops, come join us! Those who completed the first session, we're picking up right where we left off :)

Let us know if you have your own drum or need one of ours! We have a large variety of different hand drums and percussion and you are welcome to use what we've got!
