Rhythmetrix For Schools
Interactive Assemblies
We set up a plethora of rhythmic instruments, discuss where they come from, provide the history and cultures behind those instruments, and then engage the kids in a series of rhythmic games. We conclude by having all students stand and join us in some clapping/stomping/chanting activations before bringing them back down to a calm, malleable state to return them back to their teachers. We are a mindfulness company after all!
Interactive Workshops
If you want a more hands-on experience for your kids, we do that too! We can accommodate groups of up to 45 kids at a time. In that time frame, we will demonstrate how drumming works, split the group up into three groups, teach them a rhythm, engage them in ear-training games, and then let them unleash some energy!
Six Week Mindful Drumming Behavioral Modification Programs
Teach your kids executive functioning and emotional regulation skills that can translate into the classroom, and do it in a way that's fun, engaging, and easily accessible. We'll not only work with your kids, but empower your teachers to continue after we go. Best part? With surveys before AND after, you can see your METRIX to understand exactly how RhythmetriX helps kids' development!
Professional Development (Applied Mindfulness) for Teachers
Learn how to utilize mindfulness to help facilitate a more intentional learning environment. Help deepen your staff's ability to understand and spot behavioral tells and cues to help shift kids towards more desirable behaviors AND reduce teacher stress and burnout!
Rhythmetrix for Camps
Enjoy programming for all ages and types of little humanoids! We do small groups (< 50) or large groups (50-1,000) depending on your needs. Prices vary based on size, scope, and distance. Here are some of our offerings:
Interactive Workshops
We emphasize fun and making all kids feel comfortable expressing themselves in a variety of ways. Choose from programs such as: fun on the drums, the energy express, musical mindfulness, or creativity and confidence, or, tell us your vision and we will design something just for you!
Color War Break
What better way to signal the start of color war with a huge set of deep drums pounding all over the camp? Surprised your kids (and staff) with our giant, handmade drums!
Staff Trainings
Need your staff learning how to connect, communicate, or lead more effectively? We've got you covered -- with various modalities, we'd encourage you reach you to teach us your desirable outcomes and we will design a program just for you.
Performances
We'll come to your establishment and perform for up to 45 minutes. Performances begin with a brief informative session on our drums before getting right into the action. We have both choreographed and improvised performances involving drums and didgeridoo to provide kids with a musical experience unlike traditional American music but just as fun!!

I met Max from RhythmetriX at the 2022 ACA Tri-State Camp Conference and booked him and his team to come to 7 of our summer camps this summer. We run urban day camps all throughout NYC, and each of our camps is very different. Max was able to create custom workshops for all of our camps and was able to tailor it to each camps unique space and needs. Our kids absolutely loved watching them perform, as well as using a pair of sticks to practice themselves. Max came out to Mountain Vista Elementary, (Cherry Creek School District) in Aurora, CO. All second graders got to participate in a Mindfulness Drumming Experience. This was conducted in 3 small group sessions lasting 45 minutes each. When researching creative, engaging, and interactive ways to combat depression, anxiety, stress while also increasing mindfulness and whole wellbeing, I came across Rhythmetrix. Mr. Max and Mr. Matt from Rhythmetrix taught us about different instruments from around the world. Students experienced whole body rhythmic movement, while also learning several calming and mindfulness strategies. A few highlights were hearing and feeling the vibrations from an Australian Didgeridoo, dancing to a Japanese Taiko Drum, and calm breathing to the beats of an Ivory Coast Djembe Drum and Tongue Drum. Students interacted and participated throughout the performance, all while building focus, confidence, and positive social relationships. In addition, all students had a chance to drum together use drumsticks and Boom Whackers. I highly recommend Max with Rhythmetrix!
